Interesting facts about
New Jersey: Did you know that Atlantic City recently passed a non
smoking ban, which this time includes the casinos, as well? And the only
reason that some people call Atlantic City the Las Vegas of the East
Coast is because there are not that many other states around with legal
casinos, and not because New Jersey has many casinos.

From Rick:
My first of soon to be many trips to this casino went off
without a hitch. Maybe some people really like customer service,
but I on one hand like some privacy. Self check in was great,
checkout just as easy. I came to AC to lose some money and have
fun, and that is exactly what happened. Our room was clean and
just as described on their website, what customer service that I
needed was outstanding and superb. I will return to Harrahs
again and again to lose money and have fun. I mean gambling
would not be gambling if you won every time.
From Jen:
My boyfriend and i wanted to do something fun and nice for
new years eve this year. We bought tickets to go to the pool at
Harrah's in Atlantic City. Paid $250 per couple. They promised
us tickets to get in and have an open bar from 9-12. Got there
before 9 had to wait in a line to pick up our tickets for over
an hour (where they had 2 girls checking people in off a list of
THOUSANDS of people) and then a second line to just walk into
the pool. we ended up paying for drinks while standing in line
and then finally getting through the door at 11 with only and
hour left for "open bar". Once inside it was extremely difficult
to even get a drink.(20 dollar tips still got us terrible
service) When finally leaving and trying to end our night
someone decided to attack my boyfriends friend and the Harrah's
security guards ended up hassling us for no reason and using
extreme force despite the fact that no one was fighting back or
doing anything but trying to be calm and speak with them. They
ended up handcuffing my boyfriend and detaining him, even after
it was cleared up that he was not at fault in any way, the
security was not releasing him. All and all I felt as though the
night was a complete scam. I did not feel as though I received
anything I was promised. And to top it all off the security at
Harrah's treated us with such disrespect. I will never give
Harrah's another dime of my money and don't recommend anyone
going there. My night was a total waste and not worth my time,
money, or aggregation. |
